Garrett, Heather, Corban, and Jayce came down to visit for 14 days.  We have had so much fun.  The kids have played together, fought together, and gotten sick together.  We went to the museum and they fed the lizard, alligator, and the turtle some mice.  The kids loved it.

  

I think they got a little nervous when the alligator swam straight at them and hit the glass trying to get the mouse.  (apparantly the alligator is blind in one eye, so he only goes one way and hits into things).  It was also a little disturbing when the guy slammed a mouse against the wall before throwing it in (the turtle is a little slow and needs his food maimed before he can catch it).  The kids just thought it was really cool and loved watching the lizard eat the mouse whole!

We went to the Circus this month.  The kids loved it!  They had Lions and tigers, and a bear (oh my!) They also had acrobats, which I thought were pretty cool, and Landen loved the 3 motorcylces that drove around together in a round cage

But the coolest part was the animals to ride.  They had ponies or an elephant.  I let Alyssa pick which she wanted to ride and she picked the pony, can you believe it?  She had the chance to ride an elephant and she picked a pony!  Oh well, at least she had fun.  Of course later she wanted to ride the elephant, but it was too late.
